Science Park
Science Park is located on the Kannur -Thalassery Highway near to the Collectorate junction in Kannur District. The center promotes innovative scientific thoughts by inculcating scientific knowledge among youth and children. It also enables the students to unravel the mysteries of astronomic and natural phenomena by installing planetariums and roof top observatories. The activities include discussions, seminars, workshops and exhibitions. The aim of the park is to popularize science as a whole amongst the student population and the general public.
Folklore (Nadan Kala Academy), Chirakkal
Located in chirakkal, Kannur. The Kerala Folklore Academy aims tounderstand the artistic heritage during their visits to Kerala, The institution was constituted by the Government of Kerala and works under the Cultural Affairs Department, Government of Kerala.The academy functions from traditionally built structure called nalukettu and presently houses a folklore library, a museum and a publication department, besides the administrative departments.
