Hanging Bridge (ThookkuPalam) – Peralassery]
The hanging bridge of Peralassery is a notable tourist attraction. This is one of the few hanging bridges in Kannur district. This bridge, across the Kallada River, is believed to be built in 1877 by the British. A concrete bridge was developed parallel to this bridge and the Archaeology Department declared the Hanging Bridge as a protected structure.
